Limited edition hand-painted animation cel entitled 'Guarding Betty,' numbered 181/200, signed at the bottom in felt tip by Myron Waldman. The cel shows Popeye, playing a lifeguard, keeping careful watch over Betty Boop and her dog as she dips her toe in the sea. Character images measure 8.5 x 8 (Betty, Pudgy, and water) and 2.5 x 4.75 (Popeye with megaphone), with overall dimensions of 11 x 14. The lower corners bear golden King Features seals. In very fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Toon Art, Inc.
