Description

Partly-printed DS, signed “W. McKinley,” one page, 14 x 17, April 16, 1894. As governor of Ohio, McKinley appoints John M. Jenks "to be a Notary Public, for the County of Jefferson." Boldly signed at the conclusion by Governor William McKinley, and countersigned by Secretary of State Samuel McIntire Taylor. The gold foil seal affixed to the lower left corner remains intact. In fine condition.
