Superb vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 studio photo of Wayne in a handsome seated pose staring directly into the camera, signed and inscribed in ballpoint, "Not our kind of corn, Golda, but it grinds better. John Wayne.” The consignor notes that this photograph was inscribed to a moonshiner near an Oklahoma ranch. In very good to fine condition, with silvering to the darker areas of the image, most noticeably in Wayne's hair.
