Group lot of five publications related to the Apollo 11 mission: two issues of The Astronaut Trail magazine, Nos. 1 and 3 of Vol. 2, both issued as an “Apollo 11 Issue”; a John F. Kennedy Space Center NASA pamphlet entitled ‘Apollo 11 Lunar Landing’; and two issues of Life magazine, one from August 8, 1969, with the header “On the Moon: Footprints and photographs by Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin,” and the other a Special Edition issue entitled “To the Moon and Back.” Also includes an early NASA souvenir booklet about “America’s Spaceport,” the John F. Kennedy Space Center. In overall fine condition.
From the collection of Alfred and Carolyn (Shearon) Trude, the latter of whom was the sister of Neil Armstrong’s first wife, Janet Shearon.
