Outstanding World War II-dated vintage matte-finish 6 x 7.5 photo of Gen. Eisenhower by Bertram Park of London, affixed to its original 8 x 11.25 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in fountain pen, "To Dr. Poling—with high regard and best wishes, Dwight D. Eisenhower, General, U.S.A., Africa 1943.” Also signed in pencil below the image by the photographer. In very good to fine condition, with stains and tears in the borders which could mostly be matted out.
