Prolific French sculptor (1861-1929) who was a student of Auguste Rodin, and a teacher of Alberto Giacometti and Henri Matisse. Rare vintage matte-finish 8 x 11 portrait photo of Bourdelle by G. L. Manuel Freres, signed in black ink in French at the bottom of the photo (translated), “Beauty: The Highest Piece of Truth, Antoine Bourdelle, Paris 1929." The photo is affixed to its original 11.25 x 15.5 studio mount and framed to a slightly larger size. In fine condition.
