Spectacular semi-glossy 16 x 19.75 silver gelatin photo of Williams celebrating the historic 1941 season in which he hit .400, nicely signed in blue felt tip, "Ted Williams." Also signed along the bottom edge in blue felt tip by photojournalist Dennis Brearley; reverse bears a 1978 Brearley Collection copyright stamp. In fine condition, with a crease toward the top and a bit of edge rippling. A superb example of a classic baseball portrait.
