Four items related to rock band R.E.M.—a first edition of the photo book Michael Stipe, hardcover, published by Damiani in 2021, signed by Stipe in black felt tip on a bookplate affixed to the opening page; a first edition of the photo book Volume 1, hardcover, published by Damiani in 2018, signed on the inside front cover in pencil by Stipe; an official ‘R’ hologram-style RIAA multi-platinum sales award “to commemorate the sale of more than 4,000,000 copies of the Warner Bros. Records album ‘Monster’”; and an official ‘R’ hologram-style RIAA multi-platinum sales award “to commemorate the sale of more than 4,000,000 copies of the Warner Bros. Records album, cassette and C.D. ‘Out of Time.’” Both sales awards are framed with their plates and four CDs, measure to overall sizes of 21 x 17, and retain their original backings with Fitzgerald Hartley Marketing labels. In overall fine condition, with some wear to the frames. The 2021 photo book includes its original shipping box.
