Prussian statesman and First Chancellor of the German Empire (1815-1898). Scarce manuscript DS in German, signed "v. Bismarck," one page, 8 x 5.25, no date. The conclusion of an army order, in part (translated): "that the firefight will begin forthwith and await your prompt report that this has been done and what the result is." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and staining, and central vertical fold.
