Handwritten letter to Al Worden by the director of the Apollo 13 movie, in full: "Thank you for your kind words and the wonderful and insightful book. 'Hello Earth—Greetings from Endeavor' will take an important place in our library. It is really a treasure." In fine condition. Accompanied by two letters sent to Worden by Tom Hanks, both with printed facsimile signatures: one is a form letter addressed to the Apollo astronauts, inviting them to participate in the development of the TV series From the Earth to the Moon; and the other, addressed to Worden, concerns compensation to be provided to the astronauts from the series. Accompanied by the original mailing envelopes for all three, plus a satin-finish 10 x 8 photo of Worden with Howard and Hanks.
