Three bank checks filled out and signed by author Zane Grey, each 6.25 x 2.75, dated to 1919 and 1932. Grey cuts checks to his wife, “Mrs. Zane Grey,” for $25,000, to his sister, “Miss Ida G. Grey” for $50, and to “Myself” for $5500, with Grey adding his endorsement signature on the reverse. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by two more checks filled out and signed by Grey’s wife, Lina Elise Grey (Dolly), who sends $3000 to their son Loren in 1951, and $22,320 to the IRS in 1932. An amusing Grey family check lot with a total of five autographs from the great Western novelist.
