Vintage glossy 8 x 10.25 Paramount Pictures publicity photo of Emil Jannings in intense close-up as Tsar Paul I from the 1928 film The Patriot, signed boldly in fountain pen. Reverse bears a Roger Hurlburt collection stamp. In fine condition.
The Patriot remains the only Best Picture Academy Award nominee for which no complete or near-complete copy has been found.
