ALS, one page, 4.5 x 7.5, 1820. Handwritten letter to a surgeon, in full: "Wherever you settle I wish you success because for the pains you have taken in acquiring the profession, you are highly qualified to practice it." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light foxing and toning.
