Desirable recovery cover with a cachet honoring the US Navy recovery force for Apollo 13, postmarked onboard the USS New on April 17, 1970, signed in black ballpoint by Jack Swigert. In fine condition. Although the Apollo 13 astronauts were ultimately picked up in the South Pacific by the USS Iwo Jima, USS New was part of the recovery force.
