ALS, one page, 6.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, September 17, 1963. In full: "I am indeed happy that the new 35th Division Room, dedicated to the memory of my cousin, Major General Ralph E. Truman, and the 35th Division Historical Exhibits are now and will always be a permanent part of the Truman Library." In fine condition, with subtle toning to the edges. Accompanied by an unsigned program for the Presentation of the 35th Division Exhibition Room, which bears a copy of the letter on the inside cover.
