Wallace,” one page, 4.5 x 7, November 27, 1892. Handwritten letter to English botanist and taxonomist Maxwell T. Masters, in part: "I want to get a few of the half-hardy Sikkim Rhodendrons, especially some of the following species, but I cannot find them…R. campanulatum, glaucum, lepidotum, metternichii, veitchianum, virgatum. Can you tell me where I am likely to get them?" In fine condition.
