Pay order issued to Nicholas Mahon, treasurer of the Catholic Association, in part: "Please pay Mr. Hayden or bearer for advertisements in the Star Newspaper Six Pounds three shillings & nine pence which charge to account the late Catholic Association." Signed at the conclusion in ink by Daniel O'Connoll and two others. Affixed to a same-size sheet and in very good condition, with intersecting folds and moderate overall toning and staining.
