French statesman (1860-1934) who was Prime Minister of France on five separate occasions and who served as President from 1913 to 1920. Striking matte-finish 4.5 x 6.5 close-up photo by Henri Martinie, affixed to its original 7.25 x 11 mount, signed on the mount in fountain pen, "Poincare." Also signed in the lower border of the image by the photographer. A collector's annotation on the reverse reads: "Presented to Robert Lee Humber from Monsieur Raymond Poincare, September 25, 1928, Paris." In fine condition, with small stains along the bottom edge.
