Child prodigy (1876-1957) who later became one of the world's most famous pianists and pedagogues. Rare 4.25 x 6.5 Sarony cabinet photo of the child prodigy, signed and inscribed twice on the reverse in ink: the first autograph, dated at New York, December 27, 1887, was signed at age 11 during his first American tour; the second, dated at Berlin, January 1, 1890, was signed just before his 14th birthday. In very good to fine condition, with a rusty circular paperclip impression to the top, light soiling, and edgewear. A scarce, super early double-signed photo of the prodigy.
