Vintage circa 1970s glossy 8 x 10 photo of John Bonham in a recording studio, standing above a snare drum and holding drum sticks, signed vertically in the right border in blue ballpoint, “Best wishes, John Bonham.” In very good condition, with some skipping to the signature, and overall creasing, heaviest to the lower left corner.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient, which reads: “This is a hand-signed photograph of John Bonham given by John to me in the 1970s. Back then, as a family, we lived near Rushock, Worcester, where John, Pat, and children lived. Our neighbours were great friends with the Bonhams and we were lucky enough to join them and the Bonhams for many evenings of socialising, cards and music at their house. It was on one of those evenings that John gave the signed photo to me.”
