Prolific American inventor (1873-1961) often referred to as 'the father of radio' for his pioneering work in wireless telegraphy. ALS, one page, 8.25 x 7.75, personal letterhead, December 20, 1956. Handwritten response to a collector, in part: "I am happy to autograph these 1949 stamps as you request. Anything appertaining to the Telegraph, wire, wireless, long or micro-wave is, of course, interesting to me." In fine condition.
