Queen Consort to Edward VII of England (1844-1925) and mother of George V. Matte-finish 6 x 7.75 photo of Queen Alexandra and King Edward VII by W. & D. Downey, affixed to its original 7.25 x 9.25 mount, signed on the mount in ink, "Alexandra, 1910, Our last opening of Parliament." She also signs on behalf of her husband, "Edward VII." Matted to an overall size of 10.5 x 12.5. In fine condition, with toning and light damage only to the edges of the mat, easily re-matted out.
