British-born actor (1924-1992) whose title role in MGM's David Copperfield made him an overnight star; he went on to appear in such classics as Anna Karenina, Little Lord Fauntleroy, and Captains Courageous. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 promotional photo from Little Lord Fauntleroy, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Albert, with best wishes from Freddie Bartholomew." A notation on the reverse reads: "Signed March 8, 1948." In very good to fine condition, a few creases.
