American actor and singer (1931-2018) who appeared in more than 40 films and was a Hollywood heartthrob of the 1950s and 1960s. Hunter's film credits include Battle Cry, The Girl He Left Behind, Gunman's Walk, and Damn Yankees. Hunter also had a music career in the late 1950s; in 1957, he released a number one hit single ‘Young Love.’ Vintage glossy 7.75 x 10 portrait photo of Hunter as a young stage actor, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To Francis, Sincere wishes to you in ‘54 & always, Tab Hunter.” Reverse bears an American Theatre Art stamps for "Thornton Wilder's 'Our Town.'" In fine condition. Hunter's performances in Our Town led to a contract at Warner Bros.
