ALS signed “C. Wheatstone,” one page, 4.5 x 7, personal letterhead, April 6, 1867. Handwritten letter to "My dear Partridge," in full: "I forward to you the M.S. from the Kew Observatory. Hunter's drawings referred to were most probably among the articles transferred, at the time of the breaking up of that establishment, to the College of Surgeons." In fine condition, with slight foxing to the top.
