King of France (born 1551), the son of Henry II and Catherine de Medici, who reigned from 1574 until his assassination in 1589. Vellum manuscript DS in French, signed “Henry,” one page, 18.5 x 9, circa 1580. Untranslated. In very good condition, with a few small holes, staining (very heavy to the right side), and trimming to the lower right corner area; Henry's signature is light but entirely legible.
