ALS, one page both sides, 5 x 7.75, June 1, 1860. Handwritten letter concerning a shipping delay, in part: "You may recollect that I purchased a picture frame of you more than a week since, and gave directions to have it sent immediately to Buffalo. I have been looking for it every day since my return and still it does not come and I am greatly disappointed. Pray tell me what has caused this extraordinary delay…I should fear you were making me a new one (which I do not want) instead of sending the one I purchased." In fine condition, with faint toning along folds. Accompanied by an unsigned engraving.
