Partly-printed DS as president, signed “R. B. Hayes,” one page, 7.75 x 9.75, March 16, 1878. President Hayes directs the Secretary of State "to affix the Seal of the United States to a Warrant for the pardon of Lydia Wingo." Neatly signed at the conclusion by President Hayes. In fine condition, with a block of toning to the upper left, affecting only appearance.
