Colonial Connecticut pay order issued to Treasurer John Laurence to compensate Deodat Little "the sum of Thirty one pounds one shilling & one half penny money for Eighty nine pounds of Salt Petre." Signed at the conclusion by Oliver Ellsworth and Thomas Seymour. In fine condition, with a small chip to the left edge.
