ALS in French, signed “Joseph, Cte. de Survilliers,” one page, 7.75 x 9.75, June 3, 1817. Letter to Messrs. Bayard and Company, requesting that a sum of money be charged to his account. Affixed to a slightly larger sheet and in very good to fine condition, with scattered light foxing, toning from prior display, and light stains to the upper corners.
