Two items: handwritten lyrics for the unpublished song 'You Were Gone,' penned in black ink by Barry Sadler on an off-white 8 x 10.5 sheet of notebook paper, which is signed in the upper right corner; and a DS, one page, 8.5 x 14, August 31, 1976, which finds Sadler and J. D. Woods assigning the rights, title, and interest for the song "Before Your Leaving Cross My Mind" to Cedarwood Publishing, with both Sadler and Woods receiving 50% royalties. Signed at the conclusion by both in ballpoint. In overall fine condition.
