Appealing AQS on an off-white 9.75 x 7.75 sheet, signed at the conclusion in ink, "S. F. Smith, Written in 1832, This autograph Oct. 15 1894." Smith neatly pens the four stanzas of his iconic "America," beginning: "My country, 'tis of thee, / Sweet land of liberty, / Of thee I sing; / Land where my fathers died, / Land of the pilgrims' pride / From every mountain side / Let freedom ring." Framed to an overall size of 10.5 x 8.5. In fine condition.
