Description

Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 15.5 x 19.5, December 22, 1910. President Taft appoints Henry C. Dinger as a "Lieutenant Commander in the Navy?in the service of the United States." Signed at the conclusion by William H. Taft, and countersigned by Acting Secretary of the Navy Beekman Winthrop. The blue Navy Department seal remains affixed to the lower vignette. In fine condition, with a chip to the top of the blue wafer seal.
