Green Bay Packers, Inc. business check, 8.25 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Lombardi, "Vincent Lombardi," payable to Maloney's Dust Mop Service for $2.55, October 16, 1959. The check is countersigned by Dominic Olejniczak. In very fine condition. Olejniczak was the mayor of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and the president and chairman of the Board of the Green Bay Packers. A considerably early check signed by Lombardi in his rookie year as the Packers head coach. After finishing the 1958 season with a record of 1-10-1, Lombardi was brought in to serve as both head coach and general manager. The 1959 Packers were an immediate improvement, with the team finishing the year at 7-5 and Lombardi being named Coach of the Year.
