TLS signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 5.75 x 7.75, Supreme Court of the United States letterhead, September 17, 1926. Written from Pointe-au-Pic, Canada, a letter to Charles Henry Butler, in full: "Yesterday I acknowledged receipt of the kind telegram of congratulations from you and Mrs. Butler, and to-day I give you thanks for your proposed nunc pro tunc entry of the McIntosh Reds." In fine condition, with some light toning and soiling.
