Description

Limited edition color 13 x 11.5 miniature lithograph of a 1973 oil painting by Carl Barks entitled ‘Luck of the North,' numbered 167/595, printed in 12 colors on Opalesque Keramique by the Black Box of Chicago, signed in the lower border in pencil by Barks. The scene depicts Donald Duck and his nephews, Dewey, Huey and Louie, in a kayak that’s being pushed out of the water by an angry polar bear. The lithograph has been produced under license from The Walt Disney Company by Another Rainbow Publishing, Inc. In fine condition. The painting was inspired by Barks's cover to Four Color comic book Donald Duck #367 from December 1949. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
