Schaeffer as "Postmaster at Bangor, in the County of Northampton, State of Pennsylvania." Signed at the conclusion by President Taft and countersigned by Postmaster General Frank H. Hitchcock. The gold foil seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In very good to fine condition, with overall toning, a repaired tear to the top edge, and few small edge chips.
