Frazer, Reagan's drama coach in high school, in full: "I have just learned that you have been ill and hospitalized. I hope that by the time this reaches you, all will be well and whatever was troubling you will be healed. B. J., I am sitting here wondering about a great many things and remembering many—remembering Lowell Park, remembering the many talks you and I had, and wondering how that Lowell Park lifeguard wound up sitting here as I am with the plans going forward to run for the Presidency. I don't know whatever led me to this or made it possible; it certainly was nothing I could foresee back in those Dixon days. But one thing I do know, that of all the good things that have happened to me, one B. J. Frazer had a great deal to do with it. You played a very important part in my life, and I shall be forever grateful. Now take care of yourself and get well soon and just know you have my gratitude for more than I can ever say."
