Description

Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 portrait of Bradley in uniform by Fabian Bachrach, boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Brig. Gen. Wm. H. Abendroth, with best wishes, and wishing you success in your new assignment, Omar N. Bradley.” In fine condition, with one small crease to the background area. Major General Abendroth (1895-1970) served as Chief, Army Division, of the National Guard and oversaw security for JFK's Inaugural Ball, which was held at the D.C. Armory (then serving as Abendroth's headquarters).
