ALS signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 4.75 x 7.25, Berkeley Lodge letterhead, September 28, 1900. Letter to S. H. Church, in part: "I am very much obliged to your Board of Trustees for the invitation to deliver the address on Founders Day of the Carnegie Institute (Nov. 1st). It will not be possible for me to accept the invitation as some professional engagements will require all my time." Attractively matted and framed with an engraved portrait to an overall size of 12.75 x 21.75. In fine condition.
