TLS, one page, 6.5 x 7.5, personal letterhead, December 3, 1914. Letter to Gilbert B. Daniels of the Oakland Enquirer, in part: "I more than agree with you in your comparison between the voters of the Western and Eastern States. Of course, I am very sorry over the defeat of Frank Heney, but otherwise I am more pleased than I can say with the result in California." In fine condition.
