Description

American inventor and entrepreneur (1854-1932), founder of the Eastman Kodak company, whose invention of roll film revolutionized photography and helped make the once-specialized art and craft a popular pastime. TLS signed “Geo. Eastman,” one page, 7.5 x 6, Eastman Kodak Company letterhead, May 7, 1929. Letter to conductor Victor Wagner, in part: "If inquiries come to me in regard to you as a conductor of motion picture music my reply can only be favorable. Hoping that you will find a position such as fits your great abilities in this line." Affixed to a same-size sheet and in very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, and wrinkling and show-through from mounting on the back.
