In very good to fine condition, with short splits to the ends of the intersecting folds, partially repaired on the reverse. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in the hand of Saint-Saens. François-Auguste Gevaert was a Belgian musicologist and composer who served as head of the Brussels Conservatoire.
