Description

American jazz composer, lyricist, bandleader, singer, and playwright, (1889-1975) who is best known for the 1921 Broadway musical Shuffle Along and its hit song 'I'm Just Wild About Harry.' Vintage semi-glossy 5 x 7 double-weight photo of Sissle wearing a tuxedo next to a microphone in a handsome half-length pose, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Vic, Noble Sissle.” In fine condition, with a few small creases.
