Description

Highly influential German architect (1883-1969) who founded and designed the Bauhaus and whose other important buildings include the Harvard Graduate Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the Pan Am Building in New York City. Stapled article removed from the May 1964 publication of Architectural Record, six total pages, 8.5 x 11.75, signed vertically on first page next to his image in black felt tip, "Walter Gropius, 1964." In fine condition, with some faint toning and light handling wear.
