Signed book: Fear God and Take Your Own Part. Later printing. NY: George H. Doran Company, 1916. Hardcover bound in red cloth with gilt titling, 5.75 x 8, 414 pages. Signed and inscribed on the first free end page to his secretary, "To John W. McGrath, who is responsible for much of this, from his friend Theodore Roosevelt, Feb. 9th 1916." Autographic condition: fine. Book condition: VG/None, with rubbing and wear to spine. McGrath worked for Roosevelt for several years and died in 1924 at the age of 32. A significant association copy.
