American theater manager (1829-1894) most famous for operating Ford's Theatre at the time of Abraham Lincoln's assassination. Ink signature, "Jno. T. Ford,” on an off-white 3.5 x 1.25 slip. Matted and framed with an engraved portrait (bearing a facsimile signature) and image of the infamous theater to an overall size of 21.75 x 17.75. In fine condition.
