ALS in French, one page on the reverse of a 5 x 7.25 postal card, January 14, 1927. Letter to French actress and singer Mistinguett, in full (translated): "Very tardily, but no less sincerely, I send you my best wishes for the new year. May 1927 bring you all happy and agreeable things—for you and yours. Please extend to Mr. Bourgeois my most sincere good wishes." Christian-Jaque adds a brief postscript: "Has Micky returned from America? I received a charming letter from her." Addressed on the reverse by Christian-Jaque, who incorporates his signature into the return address field. In fine condition.
