Description

University of Chicago economist (1912-2006) who won the 1976 Nobel Prize in Economics. ALS signed “MF,” one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, August 14, 1978. Letter to his administrative assistant, Gloria Valentine, in part: "I have already stapled & stamped a package to go to you including a full tape. But I want to make an addition to one letter, which is the reason for this note. The letter is one to Paul Volcker. Add a P.S.: / P.S. In connection with our discussion of long-term…policy…I enclose a Newsweek column spelling out in detail my recommendation for its growth. The column I want you to include is…April 24, 1978." In fine condition.
