Description

Editing notes from Prince—"The Mayte angel shouldn't be used after 1st song—Ghetto Heaven"

Rare ANS signed with his symbol, one page, 8.25 x 11.75, no date. Note from Prince to his assistant Therese Stoulil, in full: "Tell Jim—the editor—shots of Mayte outdoors should be replaced and (from empty room) the shots of the Mayte angel shouldn't be used after 1st song—Ghetto Heaven. Whole second half of tape should not have Mayte in it anywhere. After he makes changes he can on line the piece. All blue screen should have background footage taken from (the new) Gate video software he's using." In fine condition, with minor creasing along the top. Prince used the single 'Ghetto Heaven' by New York-based soul and R&B group The Family Stand as background music for a video clip he would show at his Glam Slam night clubs.
